I specialize in treatment of trauma in children, teens and adults. I combine a variety of treatment modalities to develop a treatment plan for each individual. In working with adults with a history of early childhood traumas, I have also targeted and successfully treated their related symptoms including dissociative symptoms, depression, anxiety and attachment disorders. I have also enjoyed tailoring the treatment to the needs of neurodivergent individuals including autistic individuals (ASD), or those with impairment in language and/or cognitive development.
In developing a treatment plan for each individual or family, I draw from the following therapies: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Sandtray Therapy, Play Therapy, Psychodynamic therapies, Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), behavioral therapies, Narrative Therapy, components of PCIT, DBT, Marschak Method of Interaction Assessment (MIM) and Theraplay Activities.
